About our jewelers
Karen Reiss Staub- Karen has been in the jewelry business for 22 years and has many years with hands on experience. She has been Certified in her GIA Diamond and colored stone classes and earned Jewelry Repair and Stone Setting Certificates from New Approach School in Virginia Beach, VA. Also, she studied silversmithing under Bill Thompson of Yorktowne Craft Guild. Karen has been creating jewelry designs and selling her own line of jewelry for 10 years and does most of the repair work at her store, The Watchmaker’s Daughter. Her passion for nature is reflected in her jewelry by her use of natural stones and organic designs. She also loves re-purposing things to give them a new life, turning the old into new!
Suzi Fitz- Originally a Maryland gal and new to York, Suzi is an artist, painter, jeweler and maker of many things. Suzi graduated from Towson University focusing on the arts with a concentration in metals & jewelry in 2010. Since then, Suz has focused on all facets of the jewelry world from Seattle as a bench jeweler to years in India as a designer. She loves creating handmade pieces and connecting with people through art.
