Antique Keystone Standard Open Face Pocket Watch with Engraved Case-
This is a great looking watch and it's running well. The case has a nice engraved design and it still has a spot you can engrave initials on. The dial is lovely and the black numerals really pop against the silver toned dial. The Keystone Standard Watch Company was started by Abram Bitner with the purchase of the factory and production of the Lancaster Watch Company in 1886. Almost 9000 Lancaster watch movements had been completed but not sold when Bitner assumed control of the company, and these were sold by Keystone Standard under the Lancaster name. In 1904 this man managed a series of mergers, which brought together his own Philadelphia Watch Case Co., Bates and Bacon, Crescent and the Keystone Watch Case Co.
