Gruen Watch Company was an American-based watchmaking firm in business from the late 1800s through the 1970s. While the company assembled its timepieces in the United States, the movements were primarily made in Switzerland. Operations were eventually moved to New York under new ownership, and by 1976 the last manifestation of Gruen Watch Company was no longer in business.
